remembering the silent movies

Yesterday i had a little more time and began to contemplate the different looks of the decades. I remembered a certain video featuring an old german movie that had Lulu filling the main role. I liked Lulu ever since i was a kid, I always wondered why every not-so-pretty-girl doesn’t find something to make her different as this actress did. I’m not going to sum up her biography, the main facts are presented at the beginning of the clip:

Later, I also watched the movie and it was truly revelating in terms of cinematography and use of shades. I like the cover of the remastered edition too.

Two hours later I was convinced they said more without words than a lot of movies with words nowadays.
